The Negev Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (92-2115197) psychology, counseling, and applied social science initiative to promote the care and mission of Christian communities. 

Negev Institute works to utilize the best from behavioral health and related fields in ways that are faith-informed and culturally aware. With a focus on driving practical research, providing accessible learning, and serving as a network hub for like-minded organizations.  

It is our belief that Christian ministries, churches, schools, and other faith-based organizations, can grow in becoming some of the most effective access points in local communities around mental, behavioral, and relational wellbeing. 

Resources provided by the Negev Institute include live teaching events, online courses, organizational training and consultation, direct counseling services, podcasts, blog articles, and more.

There is a long history of assumptions and negative bias in behavioral healthcare towards Christian communities that creates barriers to groups shaped by economics, ethnicity, and confessional/moral positions; and these barriers need to challanged

We believe that Christian life and mission can be faithfully supported using psychology and other social/behavioral sciences. And it is our mission to work to understand and respond to the felt needs of our faith communities, using and adapting the tools in psychology and counseling to equip around wise parenting decisions, marriage support, career discernment, addiction, and emotional wellness, and more.
